Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana, Cuba. Her family relocated to Miami after she reached two years old. The actress was raised in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was 2 years old, accompanied by family members. The birthplace of Ana Maria Polo was Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of the well-known Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado", the first Spanish language program nominated for the Daytime Emmy(r) Award. It was also was ranked in 2015 as the number one Spanish-language program in the 4pm hour across all important demos. Polo graduated from Florida International University with a academic degree in political science. She was born in Havana on the 11th of April 1959. Then she obtained her PhD in law from the University of Miami and practiced law for over 20 decades in Miami. After earning her PhD from University of Miami in law and practicing law for 20 years, she returned to Miami city for 20 years. Polo appeared for the first time on television in 2001, as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her expertise in law was also utilized for other court-related programs. Literature Works and Accolades 1958, she wrote the novel Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children), with which she received the Critic's Prize as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in 1960. Polo also a breast cancer patient and patient who has survived the disease is often quoted about the cause she is fighting. Through her lengthy life, she's been fighting for LGBT equality.
