Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez works as a television arbitrator at Caso Cerrado. She also hosts Ana Polo Rules. Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez, who was born in Havana Cuba moved with her parents to Miami at the age of 2 years young girl. Born in Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is host of the prestigious Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which was the first Spanish show to be nominated a Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award. The show it was named the most popular Spanish-language programming at 4pm across the key demos. Polo was born on the 11th of April of 1959 Havana, Cuba and went into Florida International University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in politics and science. Then she obtained the PhD in law at the University of Miami and practiced law for 20 decades in Miami. Following her PhD at the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Polo made her first appearance on the screen in 2001 when she was part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her expertise in law was also utilized for other court-related programs. Literature Works and Accolades Her 1958 novel Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in 1960. Polo is an ovarian cancer survivor, regularly raises funds for the charity and also speaks at various events. Polo has been a vocal activist for LGBT rights throughout her career. She graduated at her University of Miami School of Law in 1987 and is an attorney in the Florida Bar.
